Photo Card Contest

It was a slow day in my studio, started out learning more about adding text to an image and ended up with content. I have never understood content and I am not sure if learned anything
about it I can use in the future.

So I made up about a dozen ideas for cards. Kept 6 with my winter image and one for V-Day which I will use next year.

Here is the contest part, rather than add all 6 cards to my blog I posted them on Flickr. Please go to my Flickr Photostream and see which one you like the best. Post the one you like the best here on my blog, everyone who posts will be added to virtual hat and in two weeks the winner will be notified and I will send them one of the cards. I have not seen these cards printed yet so I don't have a favorite yet.

Sorry! My Bad! Pick the letter on one of the top 6 images, that you think would make the best card on my Flickr page.

  1. Cathy I think I am we pick one of your pictures to be a card or did I miss the cards?

I love the blue door, I like the rustic look.

I also like the flowers that have a variety of colors to them...hey, I like them all!!

  2. Hi,

  3. Hmm couldn't post the pic. but I love the Art Glass one... The flow of the curves and its unique.

  4. Cathy, I got lost on flickr too. Didn't see which cards you meant. Out of these two I like the first best, D.

  5. Hi Cathy,

I like both C and F, but would choose C.

Best of luck with your new cards.

    Peace, Judi

PS Thanks for adding my peony cards to your favorites!

  6. Hi Friends,

I guess I missed a step--something go lost in translation for me.

Everyone who comments is in for the drawing.

It is the top 6 photos taken during a snow storm

  7. Hi Cathy! I love both F and C. I like F a little bit more because it has a vintage feel to it. :)

  8. I must admit its a hard choice I do genuinely love them all, because they are all so different its really hard to judge them against each other as each one would be a winner in its own class. I was struck how versatile you are in finding the best in all subjects. The stockyards was a natural altered art all by itself,as was the aged door and barn. The fragile wax like appearance of the cactus flowers was enticing, the beauty of the landscapes and the flower studies were all quite beautiful. Th wildlife is always a favourite with me, but the two winter scenes above first I was drawn to the vintage feel of canvas F, by then I was pulled back to the pleasing blue colouring of B,which brought out the red of the berries, so B it is.
sorry to go on so Linda:)x
