Notes From The Road #2

If you had asked me last week what New Jersey is like? I would have replied "One long turnpike with many toll booths." That is what I remember about New Jersey last time I went out to Cape May.

This time we came through Philly to Camden and down #55 to Vineland. From Vineland we passed through small towns,  byfarms and classic homes going down to East Point. But the directions to the lighthouse we,were given were for someone coming from the opposite direction, so we had to do a little back tracking. We also saw sheep, goats, and horses.

From East Point we went over to Cape May. The day is clouding up, with the promise of rain. Time to get up to Wildwood and find our hotel.

Not Your Father's Election!

Photo Info

It is time to step out of voting along strict party lines. Time to vote for the best person to
bring this country back to prosperity. To get beyond great speech makers, and those who want to give us the old sports mantra of next season, next year, but not today or tomorrow. Vote for people who will get the job done. Look beyond the blue and red, beyond being a Democrat, Republican or TEA Party member. We need to vote for the person who will do the best for our state and our country.

Please get out and vote on November 2, 2010
